This is the second post to the prior post regarding parents helping their children financial. I was always surprised that high school never had any kind of personal finance education. I know once I turned 18 my mail filled up with credit card offers, but never in school was there a course that taught basic personal finance.  I guess the assumption is that, like sex, that is a topic to be discussed at home not in school?  I think that if there was a personal finance curriculum that more students would end up with better finances.

  1. I like the idea of MESS. I want to set as a good example to my children. Children learn a lot from their parents, like I’ve learned a lot from my mine.
